

Explorer posts allow young men and women to "explore” career fields that they are interested in and it allows them to make educated decisions about their future. The Denver Police Explorer Program is for young men and women ages 15-20 within the Denver metro area who want to learn about a career in law enforcement. The program, limited to 25 members at any one time, is designed to give youth an opportunity to learn about the field of law enforcement by actually working with police officers and by attending training programs in law-enforcement-related.

The Nassau County Law Enforcement Exploring program is based on five areas of emphasis: Career Opportunities, Life Skills, Citizenship, Character Education and Leadership Experience.
